How to get thick oils out of thicker hair?

I used a hair mask with a coconut oil similar to castor oil... Three days ago! I cannot get this stuff out of my roots and it looks really gross😖 help!

Neutrogena (the original clear one) is my tried & true clarifying shampoo. So clarifying, you'll find you're going to want to still condition after using it.
