Hi beauties,
So I went to the kiehls counter the other day and I recieved a few samples.

I have normal to dry skin.

I tried their high potency skin firming concentrate on my face and unfortunately I reacted to it.

Now, I have bumpy, ruddy skin which has affected the top layer of my dermis. Photo attached.

I was wondering what products have you reacted to and did you overcome it?

My face...

I have SUPER sensitive skin. I get hives from showering (from warm/hot water). But when I react to a product (which is almost all face products) I take an allergy pill but I take a prescribed one, it's basically just a double dose of reactine in a pure form.
But to calm redness I'll do an oatmeal mask. It really helps with my hives, I'll mix in a little water with oats into a paste, and I'll leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off, pat dry and apply a soothing lotion. I like eureocin (not sure I spelt that right) it's meant for sensitive reacted skin. :) hope this helps a bit!

I have acne-prone skin and I finally started to gain control over my breakouts so I bought the Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Dark Spot Correcting because I thought it was probably lighter than wearing foundation and it will help clear up my dark spots over time. My skin broke out so bad so I'm basically back to square one again with acne and even more dark spots. Unfortunately my acne tends to leave a mark on my skin even if I don't scratch it so I've been feeling not so pretty lately but I guess it could always be worse!
