Bodyartforms.com is a great site to by body jewelry from. Also, I have my ears at an inch and I believe it's okay to use taper till you get to about a 0 or 00 as long as you use metal on freshly stretched lobes and don't stretch till your ears are completely healed but after that you should tape them which is wrapping Teflon tape around them an slowly increasing the times you wrap around till you are the size you are at. Some people use electrical tape but it's actually really awful for your ears. Happy stretching.(:

I definitely recommend steel tapers as opposed to acrylic tapers to prevent the skin from growing over. I'm sure you're aware how to safely stretch ears so I don't suppose I'll lecture you on that. There are actually stretching kits online with tapers and plus in every size to allow for less hassle, I definitely recommend those

You could try Buffalo Tapers :) when I was thinking about stretching my ears and researching I read on loads of places that the Buffalo Curved Tapers are best because they evenly distribute the weight so that one side doesn't slant :)

I had 9/16" and then I let them close. I really love silicone tunnels. 5/8ths is a lot bigger that 00g. It's almost an inch. I'm sure you know that though.(: All I have to say is take your time and good luck!(: Jojoba oil is really good for stretching as well.
