I'm in the same situation as you! I've been stressing out about the same thing. Depending on the weather, I think it's always good to have 4 pairs of good jeans (maybe 2 dark denim, 1 black and 1 lighter wash), 3 pairs of shorts (2 denim, 1 black). I live in yoga pants and I can never have enough! I would bring at least 6, I'm not even exaggerating haha. They're so comfy and easy to throw on with a hoodie for a comfy outfit if you're not feeling your best but still need to go to class. For the tops, I would have tank tops, t-shirts, blouses, a flannel, a denim shirt. It's always good to have fashion staples like a few good white shirts, a fitted jacket. A belt or two, shoes! It sounds like a lot, but if you have good storage, you can make everything fit. Don't forget to bring jewelry either.

And when you go home if you have to much/ to little clothing you can drop some off or pick some up.
