Hey, so of course my skin lately has been off. I'm never one to break out and have oily skin but lately my forehead is just terrible. It's not even big red pimples, but like a group of tiny bumps! I used Neutrogena Power Clear Wash & Scrub and when I first bought it, it worked really well but now it's not even really doing anything. Same with the Clinique Spot Treatment stuff. I don't have a poor diet and my sheets are clean so I know it's not that. Maybe I need a new skincare routine? I heard Rapid action Clearasil was good, if anyone can help that'd be greaaaaaaat!

washing my face with Oatmeal really helps calm my skin whenever i get breakouts. Just grab a hand full and run it over water until its soft enough to massage over your face. Massage for like 2 mins then rinse it off. Hope this helps! it really does wonders for me!

Whenever I have acne I use Proactive. It works completely, and if anyone says it doesn't then I just don't know if I would believe them. Neutrogena can't even touch Proactive. I hated Neutrogena. I get acne somewhat when it is time for my period. Clearasil was a little helpful, but Proactive seriously works for anyone. My sister has horrible acne everywhere for some reason, and she is the only one in the family. We ordered proactive, and it cleared everything up for her. The problem is, once she runs out her acne rages again. If that happens to you then go to a dermatologist. They have a new medicine (can't currently think of the name) that clears acne for life after 8 months to a year. My friends here have been on it, and it works. It chaps your lips very bad, though.

Panoxyl. $12 at Walgreens. Use with a moisturizer, it's a strong acne wash. It's def worth a try. It cleared my skin and many others. And it's reasonable. They come in different prevents depending on your skin. Look some stuff up about it!

If you have a doctor or a dermatologist they can prescribe you a product called Retinae. It comes in a tube and it's meant specifically for tiny acne bumps. At first your skin will be very dry and you will need moisturizing sunscreen, but if you stick to it, your bumps will go away.

Everyone's skin is different. Proactive is a semi-harsh treatment. It's terrible if you have sensitive skin. I'm glad it worked for you, but everyone I know including my sister and me broke out in a rash from it. Some people are sensitive to BP and some are sensitive to retinols. It just depends on your skin type. Trial and error will help you figure out which works best for you. That being said..
ACCUTANE is a VERY harsh treatment used as a last resort for SEVERE acne. It's very hard on your body and from the sounds of it, you just got used to your products and need a switch up. Be gentle to your skin. It's designed to protect you and heal itself.

Thank you guys for the advice. And my acne isn't to the point I need Pro-Activ but I appreciate the help anyways. I bought my self a bar of African Black Soap and looking into the Body Shop products and looking at Clarisonics so hopefully this new natural skin routine will help it!

Are the little bumps red or just skin coloured? If they are red it could be folliculitis. If it's skin coloured bumps its closed comedones which are just like blackheads but closed. For closed comedones Differin; which is a topical, prescription medication, works really well. In any case I would say a trip to a dermatologist is your best bet. If it is folliculitis antibiotics will be prescribed and will clear it right up.

well unfortunately I got adult acne:( so when I get pimples or those horrible acne scabs I put white vinegar on a q-tip and dab each blemish before bed! vinegar kills the bacteria and heals the scabs faster
