toner I think

I wouldn't get a toner just yet because it won't remove all of the orange tones but leave a toning shampoo on for an hour or so on dry hair and it should leave it more ashy rather than orange

Tone... and treatments to get some moisture back in it. Purple shampoo works, but once a week unless you want lavander bits.

Shes right, not light enough for toner... work on building up the moisture... bleaching isnt really an at home job. There's a lot involved.

Yes you could re bleach the orange parts but be careful trying to avoid the parts that are already blonder to avoid doing more damage than necessary, after that I'd go in with a toning shampoo and if it's toned to a more even colour then maybe try a toner.

I'd use a lower developer too... go slow. Good luck. Just went through this process myself... you have courage... I'm too chicken to do it at home... but luckily I'm in spa industry, and have sytlists for friends. With your beautiful, long thick hair... it would cost a fortune.
