I LOVE this product, I always have the giant tubs around my house... but I have only used them for my art brushes. I was actually wondering about using this on my makeup brushes last week, but I didn't follow up with my experiment =( It gets out nasty acrylics, oils, and gouaches, so figured it might be awesome for makeup brushes... but I also thought it may be too harsh for makeup brushes (why I wanted to experiment). But it doesn't damage my more delicate watercolor brushes or fine haired detailing brushes, so it may not be too harsh... those are jus tthe thoughts that were running through my head when I thought about this brush cleaner.
At first I used the MAC brush cleansers, but when I moved out of my parents house for college and didn't have easy access to their credit cards, I started just washing my brushes with baby shampoo since it was a jillion times cheaper and I was already using it on my hair. Now I think I have an elf brush cleanser-I don't love it, but I just haven't replaced it yet. My indifference towards the elf cleanser is why I thought of this product the other day actually. How do you like it on your brushes? Is it too harsh, or just right? What are things you like about using The Masters? and what are some things you don't like using about The Masters Cleaning?
