Damage is caused by 3 things: color, heat and dryness so those are the areas you wanna target. Try not to permanently color your hair but instead use color shampoos and embrace your natural hair color- it's what suits our skin color the best!
Secondly try not to apply heat (straightening and blow drying) to your hair except from the day you've washed it - which should be 2-3 times a week. Your hair needs its natural oils. And always use minimal heat and always use a heat protector, mostly sprays and milky textures avoid oils before your hair is dry.
Thirdly use masks on a weekly basis, home made ones include warm olive oil and a beaten egg, separately of course. Always condition, I love the Australian brand, Aussie's 3 minute miracle :) rinse out completely :)
Hope this helps!
