I have very strong, healthy, thick, naturally oily hair. I've bleached my hair a twice in the past month. I wash it every other day and it's healthy considering what it's gone through. But it's still damaged. I want to do a mask or treatment once a week to keep it as healthy as possible but I'm not sure what recipe would be best for my hair. Thank you in advance! Ps I know bleach is really bad for my hair.

Try Aphogee protein treatment and conditioner duo. Always help me bleached hair.

I've bleached my hair a lot, and I use oil treatments once a week. I mix olive oil, coconut oil and argon oil together, leave it on overnight and wash it out in the morning. I find it's made it much much more healthy :)

@Alyx I want to do over night treatments but how do you keep it off your pillow? Do you wear a shower cap and how can you sleep with it in your hair?

Thanks Jacqlyn! I put olive oil in my hair before I bleach it to keep some moisture but since I'm used to having oily hair I'm hesitant to put all this oil in my hair.

The packets cost around $3.50 and the bottle maybe $7.00.

You can use natural coconut oil! It works great, just put it in your hair before bed and then wash it out! Its seriously amazing!

I honestly just do it the night before I'm going to change my pillowcase and sheets lol. I don't find it does any staining or anything. But I also put it on at least an hour before bed so it has time to soak into the hair a bit. Then I just put it in a braid and go to sleep. I do find sometimes in the morning my neck is a bit oily, but it's never caused a problem.

Oh and surprisingly, oil is very good for oily hair. My hair isn't oily anymore, since I've "trained" it to go 3-5 days without washing. But since I've been using the oil treatments once a week, I find it helps the scalp not produce as much oil, since the hair already has some on it.
But that could just be a coincidence.
