I wouldn't leave it more than 15, at the absolute most. Make sure to use heat protectant, always.

I think she did it for 30 in that video, I seriously cringed at that 😣

I Seen That Video Too! Her Face Was Priceless But I Felt So So Bad For Her 😔 So I'd Say No Longer Than Around 15 Seconds 👌

That's happened to me awhile back. Not like hers, mine was just a small section. I only had it on for a short period of time (maybe less than 15 sec) and it happened so I think the temperature also plays a huge role on how long you can keep it on your hair as well.

Yeah It Absolutely Depends On What Temp Its Set On 😔

The girls curling wand was defective, it heated up waay above what it was supposed to, it short circuited. she was on Ellen and she got money from the company for her suffering. I wouldn't go over 10-15 seconds, but it depends what heat you have it set it. The higher the heat the less time you should hold it

It also depends on your hair texture thin fine hair can take less heat for less time thicker textured hair can tolerate more heat for a longer period of time.

Jacqlyn I saw the video where her hair fell off! I died laughing at her reaction, but also felt sorry for the poor girl.

I think it depends on the curling iron/the temperature. I had a really old and would hold it for much longer than I do with my new one now. You'll just have to test it a few times til you get what you like!
