My first try, opinions? tips? Constructive criticism welcome! I know it's not very good but I've seen so many ombre lip looks lately I wanted to give it a shot! Thanks in advance :)

It's a good attempt! You're very close, just need a bit more practice. I would add more liner in the outer corners of your lips, and have a bit less towards the center of your lips. I would also maybe choose more contrasting colors, as this almost just looks like a darker lip liner. Here's a pictorial to help a bit!

I love the color choice! I agree with Cami about choosing contrasting colors :) the transition is very slight but apart from that, good effort! Better than what I would've done anyway :*

It's not too bad for your first attempt, it looks pretty good:) but you should try a lip plumper, just to give you more room to create the look.
