Promgirl or loving dresses. They have some nice ones under 100. Be careful, there are a lot of scam sites that send terrible dresses.

A good way to tell a legit site from a scam one is first, do they have a phone number? Also, is there a help chat and if so, is the person helping you the same name every time or are you given different people? A lot of scam sites are from china and will have typical "American" names and will always say the same name each chat. Also, most will take very long to respond. Your best bet, however is to look up the site name followed by "reviews" or "scam"

You can go to prom designer sites like La Femme, Sherri Hill, etc.and they usually have a place where you can verify authentic dress stores. I ordered my dress last year from Missesdressy.com and it was a good website to order from. Promgirl.com and newyorkdress.com are good too:)

And the chat thing like Claire mentioned isn't always true, just because I did msg them once on promgirl and they took forever and was obviously not located in the US, but they are authentic. But definitely stick with promgirl, missesdressy, newyorkdress, or any other sites with reliable reviews.
