What affordable products are there that prepare the lips for lipstick? Also, are there any that prime the lips well enough so that they're longer lasting,
Would be a real help for prom

There is a such thing as a clear lip liner that's made so your lip color doesn't bleed.

* urban decay has one called ozone in their 24/7 glide on lip pencils. Elf has one, sephora collection has one called rhe universal lip liner

Mac prep & prime or too faced that hailey suggested. A warning, if you do get MAC prep & prime don't twist the tube up much at all. Just enough to use it. I did, & it broke up really easily so I was disappointed in that but I took it back to MAC & they gave me a new one even though it was my fault & I use it for all my lippies!

One layer of lipstick, put powder over it, add another layer of the same lipstick. It will not budge or fade, I guarantee.
