I used it without a primer and it was still mostly there the next day. That stuff is insane. Mine did crease though.

I don't use a primer and mine was on all day and I slept with it on last night and woke up and it was still there

I have oily eyelids so they tend to crease with or without primer. but I have gone swimming with them on, without a primer and they stayed put. so pretty much you don't need a primer but you can use one if you want.

I have oily lids as well as asian eyelids (they fold into themselves and rub against each other) so they crease especially if I don't put powder eyeshadow over them.

Honestly I use the color tattoo as my base, I never found a primer I liked (that I could afford) & it works great for me. Also it really helps build up color, like I used the silver kind & then I used silver eyeshadow over it & it lasted my entire prom night. :)
