I want to lighten my hair but I don't want it to be platinum blonde and I know bleach lifts all the color but I want my hair to be a light brown or copper type color. I plan to do this and hen wait three months do do a rinse.

20 would be best. Although your hair may be in a red/orange stage you'll just need to tone it an it'll be the color you want it to be.
