I was looking at some lovely cream blushes. The problem is my skin is oily. Will putting setting powder on before and after I use the blush will that keep it from slipping off?

My skin is very oily as well, I find cream blushes such as mufe hd cream blush or the nars multiple sticks work very well I feel it really depends on the brand and quality. I use nars oil free primer first and I actually set my makeup with macs prep&prime cc compact in neutralize, they have a few different shades but it really absorbs my oil the best (:

I have cream blushes from several lines and I must say if you're looking for that dewy, glowing from within blush it works just fine on oily skin. I have oily skin too and I just apply over whatever face product I'm using and use a small head stippling brush so I don't disturb my foundation. I don't apply any powder over it. Make Up For Ever cream blushes stick around for a long time followed by Chanel. Bobbi Brown is good as well but MUFE has been holding up pretty well for me in Florida with the humidity and heat.

As an alternative, you could try the liquid stains, like the ones from benefit, or. Etude House if You are in Asia. They have the same effect but without any oiliness

Ooh Sreetama thanks for that tip. I've tried Benetint, and I'll look for the Etude House ones.
