Yeah this is a trend circulating around Japan and korea right now. The puppy eye look is really popular especially in korea since it looks super cute and innocent especially paired with their 'aegyo-sal' I believe in Japan instead of calling it puppy I heard that it was called the rabbit look. either way it's supposed to emphasize cute eyes as opposed to the harsher cat eyes. I'm personally in love with the puppy eye myself since I have asian eyes and will always benefit with some 'eye enlargening' technique.

@symone, yea it's supposed to look a bit sad and cute! But I mean, it's mainly Asians that use this trick since we do tend to have smaller eyes than other races.

Interesting, my eyes are slanted upward so I would assume it wouldn't suit my shape. But it looks cool.

It's a basic eyeliner trick following the eye which has always been an eyeliner look to change the shape and to lengthen the shape. Its interesting that they're calling it the puppy eye shape.
