It seems like we have a similar skin profile and preferences, so I'm really interested to hear what everyone else ha to say also!
I use the maybelline dream fresh bb cream in light or light/medium (I forget) and I don't really have any strong feelings (good or bad) towards it. I definitely like it better than wearing foundation though! I like the way it makes my skin feel, it feels light and barely noticeable on my face. It never made me break out or I never had an adverse reactions to it, which is nice (always a fear of mine when switched products and trying new things). Its the only bb cream I have ever tried and I'm almost out of this tube, I think I am going to try a new one instead of repurchasing this. But I'm not disappointed with it! It was only a couple bucks, so it was worth a try for me, and I enjoyed using it but I was wowed by it (I wasn't really sure what to expect either, so I don't know if that's saying much).

I've heard good things about the Loreal one with the beads in it.
Also, Almay makes foundation that feels very light.
