I am 12 and I have quite a bit of redness. Do you think I should start using proactive. I use aveeno right now but it doesn't do enough. If you have any other products please tell me about them and if you can post a pic.Thank you, appreciate it.

Well your skin is still fairly young so I wouldnt, especially if all you have is redness. I'd say just a gentle face wash instead.

Personally I am 14 and have not the worst acne but I have tried proactive and it did not work for me at all. It just made things worse. I went a dermatologist and they told me to use a cleanser like cetaphil but it is cerave. I use the cleanser and moisturizer (I have very dry skin) and it works wonders. Also they have a cleanser for dry or oily skin ppl. It is amazing.

I use proactive and I'm 15 I don't have bad acne just some every once in a while but it works for me but since your only 12 and it's only redness I wouldn't I would use a moisturizer if I were you. Keep your skin moisturized it should go away, you could even use some foundation or bb cream with sun screen in it

I think pro active is for a bit mature skin! Just what I think though :)

Try St. Ives green tea scrub, that helps with redness!

I like proactive but I think you should have a chat with a doctor.

Proactive isn't great, if you use it religiously then stop using it your skin will be even worse off.

I started using pro active when I was 17 and it worked for me,as well ad medication from my doctor. I still use it now. and it didn't make my skin worse. but I think you may be a tad young to use it at the moment.

I have only experienced having 3 small pimples and I'm 15. right now I have 0! I use products by Clinique. you can get Clinique in the mall, Macy, etc. however, it is not drugstore. I swear by their products. they specialize you for a type of product. such as facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. I love it, and I would recommend it to anyone :) good luck
