I myself never tried it. But so far what I hear is really positive feedbacks. I would try it and see how it works if I were you.

Yea I have to agree it made my skin very tight and extremely dry, but it did help my scars.

Pure African black soap is not black, it is brown in colour. the black soap is fake with not as many nutrients. you can buy it at any health food store. I do not recommend using this on your face because it kind of pulls the oils out if your face which can make your skin become very dry. it is recommended more for people with oily and/or acne prone skin. it has helped my boyfriends acne dramatically. when you use it don't let it sit on your skin for long, wash it off fast and moisturize well. my skin can't tolerate it and it gave me a rash but my boyfriend loves it. if you would like to try something else try pine tar soap or black clay soap. they are a bit more gentle

Black soap worked so well for my skin! I have sensitive/combo skin and it didn't irritate it or anything. I love it!❤️

My skin couldnt handle the true African Black soap that is brown in color. I use one from Nubian ( can be found at Whole Foods) and it had been a much better fit for my skin as the true original gave me angry cystic acne. I have oily/combo skin. I only use it once a day on my face and as Shauna mentioned it does pull the gunky oil to the surface and for me keeps my oil production in check. Its great for oily/combo skin that isnt overly sensitive.
