Just know that:
-It's going to take forever
-take your time. Quality is better than rushing. Watch a marathon or something lol
-On your hair type, I don't know if I would recommend it to you since unlike ethic hair, your scalp produces oil (ours produce little to NO oil) and take causes them to slip off
-washing hair frequently isn't recommended since it causes them to get fuzzy. I wash them like every week and a half.
-use moisturizer on them
-redip your ends in boiling water whenever your ends get fuzzy or crinkly
-I don't recommend this for damaged hair. As it does cause breakage since a lot of hair is put on small sections of your natural hair causing lots of tension which leads to breakage. I only recommend this for strong hair. Your hair will take a hit and shed when taking them out

As far as I know, there are no downsides, I've had braided hair for basically the whole of my life (until recently, when I got a weave). My hair hasnt broken or any thing, in fact if you mositurise your hair very well before you get these done, it can help your hair to grow faster (because of the lack of heat manipulations. the extensions also act as protection from weather damage)

So helpful thankyou both of you! My hair is naturally dry and coarse, so I'm used to not washing it very often! This is deffinately looking more possible, thankyou again! I've wanted this done for years :)

Oh and also how much hair do you recommend buying? I have quite thick hair that just reaches my shoulders

Depends on the length. I only do the past my butt so I use 7 packs. If you're cutting the back in half then 4-5 packs

Ok thankyou, I'll grab around that many packs then! Is this hair re-useable or will I have to buy packs everytime?

Some people reuse, but I don't
