Remove any nail varnish if you have it on. Then gently buff the acrylic in case you have any you've protective coat on as this usually doesn't soak off. Put your acetone into a small dish that can fit your fingers in (I like to use an ice cube tray) then get another bowl with warm water ( as hot as you can stand it) be careful not to burn yourself though! Put your dish with the acetone in, into the bowl of warm water and leave to soak for at least 30 mins. I like to gently buff the nails every 10 minutes to help remove the acrylic as it softens. After 30 mins is should be removed.
