Messy bun help

To get a "messy bun" everyone says to just twist all your hair and tie it with a hair tie. I have really thick hair so this doesn't work even with the help of bobby pins and hairspray! Help!! How can I do a messy bun with my thick hair?

I use hair ties and it works pretty good.

Try tying your hair in a knot and then putting a bobble in in ill try and find a picture for you x

I can't find a picture but here's what mine ends up looking like its hard to explain but basically you gather all your hair into a pony tail but don't put a hair elastic in it just hold it and put your middle finger behind it and twist the hair around until you have a circle of hair and grab the end and pull it through the middle and just put an elastic around it I hope this makes since if not look on YouTube for tutorials x
