Nail Chipping

I have a lot of issues with my nail polish chipping after a very short time. Any tips on how to stop this?

I have the same problem..... So I do it AFTER I shower and i ALWAYS USE A CLEAR COAT ON TOP

I make sure to buff my nails a little. Then I make sure to wash my hands and dry them with a towel until bone dry. I apply a base coat, 2 coats of polish and a top coat. I also make sure to paint the points of my nails and apply extra top coat on the edges of my nails. I recently tried sally hansen nail art and they lasted over a week.
