Yep :) they protect the nail and I guess they give the nail extra nutrients. I was severely anaemic and am again, my nails peel horrifically. I've been using Nail Tek and it makes the world of difference. I can have long, strong nails without worrying about them breaking now :)

I've used opi nail envy which worked wonders. I've heard good things about Sally Hansen but never tried it myself.
