So I'm looking for a good foundation which can also be a concealer. can you recommend some products? how about maybelline products are they good? and how do I look for the proper color to match my face? does it should be darker or lighter than my skin? I just can't find a good match color for my skin.

I use hard candy just face it and it works amazing and when in doubt always go a shade lighter than your skin because if you apply powder it evens it out and its less harsh and easier to correct :) hope this helped

I always match my foundation to the colour of my neck/chest area I don't want my face and neck/chest area looking separate lol hard to explain. I always find it hard matching foundation as your need natural light and instore it can look like the colour suits you but when you buy it and put it on in natural light it's usually to dark 😪 I use max factor skin adapting foundation which is just brill! It's the perfect shade and it does adapt to my skin tone! I put abit on my skin in the store then went outside and had a look to see if it was right. I personally don't like Maybelline foundations.

My fav foundation is the Loreal True Match. It's so natural looking and lightweight. Has awesome staying power too.
You should always match the foundation to the rest of your body. Because in a lot of cases your face doesn't always match your body. Like me for example, I fake tan/tan so my face is ALWAYS lighter than my body so my foundation is darker so that I can match. So I would say match the foundation to your chest or arms because even matching to your neck could be terrible if your neck is also lighter than your body. The Loreal True Match also has a great color selection.

A great drugstore foundation is Revlon Color-stay! It's build able coverage from light to full coverage.
• Tip: choosing your shade can be hard but I heard if you get some on the back of your hand and test it on your jaw line! Your color should be able to blend in to your skin tone. But by looking at a shade in the packaging try to go 1 to 2 shades lighter than what you think might be yours. (If it's to light you could return it or get some bronzer to alarm up your face to make it match more)

Definitely mach the foundation to your neck/chest. Because I use suscream every day, I am really pale, so I always test the product on my neck and chest area! You can end up looking like a ghost if you go lighter, or like a oompa loompa if you go darker. Lighter foundations/concealers are easier to deal with, because you can blend and apply bronzer or darker face powders on top. You want your color to look even :)
