I heard that removing the hair by the root can really help, maybe try waxing...but it's super painful!

Waxing, using lemon and sometimes your deodorant may be causing it so make sure you scrub it off really well or you can buy a whitening one :)

Please don't use lemon it is too acidic for your skin and can cause damage and discomfort there is deodorant for dark armpits that lighten it and honestly it looks like a shadow and not very noticeable. I wouldn't really worry about it just look for deodorant that helps with that

I have read that you can apply potato slices to lighten hyperpigmentation or to reduce tanned skin. It might work for you especially since yours is barely visible, at least in your photo. And just like the others said invest in a deodorant for dark armpits to help as well.
