I'm using an acne fighting bb with 2% salicylic acid. It seemed to initially help what was there, but now I'm getting breakouts in weird new places? Is it just the placement or...?

How long have you've been using it and what are you using? I find that Salicylic Acid can make you purge.

Some people that use that stuff in astringent form it does the same thing to them :/ sorry to hear that! hope it gets better :)

Ugh the Maybelline Dream bb is horrible for acne prone skin. It does contain Salicylic acid but in god knows what concentration, I thought it was making my skin purge too, until I checked the ingredients... it has tonnes of pore clogging things, adding some salicylic acid does NOT make it fit to be used on acne prone skin I'm afraid.

If you want the benefits of Salicylic Acid a BB Cream is not going to offer that. American BB Creams are purely cosmetics.

The Neutrogena Rapid Clear Lotion is great for break outs and I have personally used it before.
