Hey, I'm going to Paris in August this year. I've been once before but I was too young to care about these things. I have a few questions..
~Outfit Ideas?
~ (Sounds kind of stupid) Saw a thread about a week ago on here, someone said they wear minimal make up in France. But I have problematic skin, will I get judged for wearing face makeup?
~What's the weather like in Paris in August?

A great tailored mens' jacket will go a long way, as will some great mocassins. basics are a great way to change up your looks. For makeup, just don't go overboard with the eyebrows and aim for a "no-makeup" look, with minimal mascara, dewy cheeks. You can totally wear what you want this is just to blend in with the locals :)

French style looks someone effortless, clean lines, well tailored clothes fit right in. The French, in my opinion, don't care as much as Americans about perfectly styled hair and makeup, so keep it natural, face makeup as long as it isn't cakey will look fine. Good luck!

They will not judge you hahaha! You can go completely cray cray with your make-up. They do wear make-up in France :). It is not like Europe and America are opposites or something ;). They do wear the prettiest clothes ever in Paris. So I feel like you should bring some very pretty clothes. It is extremely warm in Paris during August. Just bring some shorts, skirts and a dress. And maybe one or two pairs of jeans, just in case. It is about 26 degrees C there. (That is very warm 😉)
Have fun! Oooh and a little tip: if you are planning to climb the Eiffeltower, take the stairs instead of the elevator. It saves you time and it hardly makes you tired. And also, make sure you have you bag closed at ALL times!! You don't want someone to grap something out of it ;)

Hey Karina :) I actually live in Paris (I was born here!). We do wear make up lol, you won't get judged for wearing face makeup. I wear a full face everyday :) everyone does (well ok not every single women but a lot :)!) & usually in august the weather is really hot here. But right now, we're almost in June and summer isn't here yet and it has been raining almost the whole week. So maybe this summer won't be that hot!
Btw :) this is kind of funny to hear that "French don't care about perfectly styled hair & makeup" cause this is kinda wrong. Especially in Paris :). So if you have any more questions you can just come & ask me. I'd be glad to answer ;)

26?C is not too bad! That's about 75-80?F. Capri's and shorts are a necessity. Bring with a few light weight t-shirts and a pair of sneakers and sandals.
