Yikes!!! When figuring out pricing you really need to look at how much is cost for you to produce an x amount of product. If you price it too low you won't pull a profit and recoup your investment. How much does it cost you to purchase all the necessary items needed to produce the nail polish (bottle included)? I need to see a finished product and know how its costing you do all this before a fair price could be slapped on it. :)

I think the girls on each side are cute but I think both fonts should be fancy/better quality. They shouldn't be something that you can find in a word processing program. As is they look kind of cheap, and I'm sure you want to present your brand as a quality brand. No offense, of course, just my view.

I would either see if you can have one designed for you by a graphic designer or download one that's free to use off a site like dafont.com. Even if it is free I would contact the illustrator (their usernames are usually on the same page as the font) and send them an email and ask for their permission to use it. They may ask you for a fee to use it. I'd do this so you don't get sued or anything, even if its not copyrighted and for free use there still could be an issue, so take steps to avoid one. Bottom line is I think if you have a little money to spare I would definitely get a custom/not widely used font. It will represent your brand much better. Again, just my opinion. Good luck :)

Agreed ^ the packaging is the first thing to draw someone in. Perfect example is the EOS lip balm. People are drawn in by the odd packaging and then they find out if they like the actual product or not. You can have the best product ever but if the packaging isn't eye catching and doesn't reflect the quality of the product people may never know it's a good product!

Agree with other people. Hiring a good graphic designer would really be a good idea. You can find free fonts on Fontsquirrel, but I really think you would be happier with what a graphic designer could do.

I think you could incorporate it in there somehow but still have just regular font underneath so people that don't know sign language can still see what it says. And maybe see if you can get a more stylish version of the symbols? I think its a creative idea but the way they're drawn doesn't really seem to match the feel of the rest of the label. I think they're a bit too harsh to put between the cute little cartoon girls.

I do agree with Rebecca though, a good graphic designer may be what you really want here. You're creating your own original brand so I'd go as original as possible. You can bring them some samples of the fonts you find online to give them an idea of what you want. But the design should come from you and reflect your brand as originally as possible

It may be a good idea to contact whoever the artist was to see if they mind. If you can't find anyone to contact you can probably get away with it. If they see it later they may send you a cease and desist order and all you'd do is stop using the design and find another. But to avoid that see if you can find who created it and ask them for permission to use it. Getting it in writing/an email would also be a good idea. They also may want compensation for their art so if you can't pay them you may have to choose another design. That's also something a good graphic designer could come up with. Or a friend that is good at drawing could sketch you something. Again though, the more original you can make it the better

To be honest yes packaging will attract buyers but if its low quality no one will buy it again.
