My skin gets really oily after about 3 hours. I wash my face in the morning, moisturise, and blot off excess oil. Then I put on concealer where it's needed and a little bit of powder. Ever since it's been getting warmer my skin has been getting more oily. My friend told me to take acutane but it gave her really bad rashes so I'm not going to take that. How do I decrease the amount of oil my skin produces? I don't like blotting it off ever few hours.

I found that the face washes I used were making my super skin oily. I tried not using a face wash and replacing it with oatmeal morning and night. I no longer have oily skin. :)

Is your moisturizer oil free?

I have super oily skin and the best way I've found of controlling it is by using mattifying products like moisturizer and even a serum or primer. Philosophy total matteness serum and Becca ever-matte primer are both amazing.

Have you tried Rimmel StayMatte powder? I haven't tried it yet but I plan to, Bethany Mota uses it 😁
