You don't want to ruin your hair...Why not get a buzz cut? You could definitely pull it off. I know it sounds crazy, but why the heck not? I did it and it's so liberating...I will do it again very soon. And from there, just bleach 6our short hair, Jessie J-style :)
If I don't make sense to you, forgive me!

A buzz cut is an extremely short haircut, your hair isn't even an inch long with one, you could definitely pull one off though! I would just trim it frequently, keep any kind of dye out of it, and do hot oil treatments to try and keep it as healthy as possible and let it grow :/ that's really all I know to do other than going all out and getting a buzz cut or shaving your head, sorry I couldn't be of more help :(

You could shave your head and invest in a wig until your hair grows out again, tha way you could start fresh!

But it will probably grow blonde again, and healthier and maybe more voluminous.

I would suggest to just get a white wig so you can have the hair you want while still growing out your natural hair?? also wigs are super fun cuz you can change them whenever you want lol.

You know what I did when I was going through plat. Blonde withdraw?? After I grew my dark brown hair out I bleached the front of my hair surroundin my face platinum! I'll show you pics
But it also aloud me to continue to grow my hair healthy as well. And half a year later I finally (a few weeks ago) went platinum again!

Hair hair for half a year so I could have the feeling of being blonde around my face.

I was going to suggest exactly what you're doing-using lighter dye each time so it eventually grows out close to your natural color =) You could also go to a professional and have them lighten it a level or two to give you a jump start. It wouldn't be as damaging as jumping from black to platinum, but lifting it a level or two will help you get closer to a lighter brown/darker blonde in a shorter amount of time.

I'm actually in a similar situation... or I'm afraid I will be. I currently have platinum/white/silver hair and I have been considering dying it close to my natural hair color (light brown) so I can finally grow it out and have it be healthy again! I just LOVE having silver or blonde hair and dying it pastel colors on occasion. I know I will instantly regret the decision to dye my hair close to my natural color or anything darker than platinum haha. BUT I really want healthy hair again. I went from Platinum to red to dark brown/black once before and I LOVED having dark hair-it was shiny and healthy and grew so long... but I quickly got sick of it and wanted to go back to platinum or red and it killed my hair! So now I'm afraid of dying it darker and regretting it.

What are you going to do?! Are you going to keep touching up your hair with lighter colors? I'm thinking I may do the opposite thing-keep touching up my roots a tiny bit darker. SUCH A HARD DECISION! =( I need just as much help as you, because I always regret changing my hair.

The biggest help when I'm deciding if I'm going to change my hair is a pros and cons list, it may help you too!

Geez, sorry again! the page just refreshed o.o I do love the dark on you so if you do want to keep it I think that would be great!

Honestly you need to stop dying your hair. You need to let you hair breath from all the chemicals. You dye your hair so much that its thinning. Try not dying your hair for a year.

I definitely can relate!
I want different hair colors all the time, and I want it instantly.
I still don't know how to get out of that mind set hahah.
I'm trying now to just leave my hair what it is now. I've wanted the ombré look and I have it a bit now, not quite the blonde I want yet but I decided to tell myself that it's good for now haha and maybe every few months I'll add some more blonde to get the color I want!
