Colour change... Help please :)

So, I've decided I'm so bored of the colour of my hair and want something different, but I'm scared I won't be able to get my natural hair colour back, ever! Any colours or suggestions, pretty please? I've had my hair toned a dark purple before, so it had a tint and then had it dip dyed a light brown, but I've never had anything too damaging. My hair is naturally very dark but in the sun, it looks brown/red... Thank you :)

Maybe slightly lighten it for a natural look, it will make your features pop more just because it's different than usual. :)
