Hi, I know you told me Aphrodite in the mac bronzer, but when I read reviews they all said it's for fair skin,so I'm worried about buying it, and I really want to get something from the aquatic collection... do you have the Aphrodite bronzer? I just want to put my mind at ease and of course I trust you!

Sam, that color would be beautiful on you. In the same way M.A.C's Soft and Gentle works on various skin tones, Aphrodite's Shell will as well.

If you're reading the blogs/YT you can't really trust half of their opinions because if they aren't rocking the same skintone as you (or not even a pro makeup artist) then how in the world can they say its only for this or that skintone. I read so many reviews who said x,y and z isnt for my skintone only to go in and try it for myself...and lo and behold...it showed up perfectly on my skin. I didnt buy any of the products from the collection...I'm just good friends with a MAC manager who gave me a private reveal. Aphrodite isnt a screamer in regards to your typical bronzer. I really wouldnt call it a bronzer...to me its a perfect highlight to accompany a matte bronzer that is more pigmented.

Whoa!! $230 You.S. dollars in conversion. Goodness gracious!! Sam...next time you're ever interested in a product...especially one you never tried ask any of us for swatches. I'm always in and out of stores so if asked I will remember and swatch away because I know what its like to buy something not knowing texture/tone/pigmentation first hand. xxxx
