hi from UK but love the American style etc I have seen a few graduated Bob's I like would one look silly dip dyed brown with lighter on bottom? I'm natural golden ginger with fair skin xx

I don't think so! Go for it!
I actually prefer seeing dip dyes and ombrés on shorter hair, it seems so much fresher and more unique since its so common on those with long hair. You would have to do it more meticulously and precisely on your shorter hair since with long hair, you have so much to work with you can create a really long, stretched out gradient, but I don't see a problem with that. I think it will look really cool!

I think that would look really nice. I agree with Natalie, almost everyone I see with ombré and dip dyed hair has pretty long locks, and it would be nice to see it on a shorter style. I don't think it would look silly at all.

It would be best to use a balayage technique because its harder to blend shades in shorter hair :) just means hand painting the Colour onto sections and blue ding shades through rather than foiling or dipping which can leave harsh looking bands of Colour :)
