Recently I bought coconut oil which is in a tub that basically states that it helps the condition of your hair (which was the main reason I bought it in the first place) I picked it up in the hair section at sallys beauty supply but I was wondering was there a possiblity that I could apply the product on my skin aswell? (facial area)
its a solid block and melts when I rub it in my palms like all coconut oil...so is it pretty much the same thing?
it also contains olive oil, lanolin and vitamin e...

If it says its just for hair thn I'd stay with usen it jst for hair. you could gt regular coconut oil at a grocery store and tht could be used for almost anything.

Is it possible for you to show us the ingredient list on the back of the tub? a lot of times if its meant for just hair they add ingredients, I'm wondering if Palmer's did that as well.

This wouldn't be suitable for sensitive or acne prone skin because it contains mineral oil, an unspecified coconut oil, and chemical additives. If you suffer from dry skin the petroleum from here will only create a barrier that will dry out your skin over time. It also contains lanolin, which is animal fat, which is really thick and may be too much for facial skin. I personally wouldn't recommend this for your face :) good luck

No no trust me that would break you out if you put it on your skin. That coconut oil is for ethnic hair which means it contains a lot of oil! So please don't use it on your skin it's just intended for hair
