Aubrey, I recommend getting a facial that includes extractions! After that you can keep up with a scrub 1-2x a week :)

Garnier pure active blackhead uprooting scrub..its got salicylic acid..and it helped me atleast.

Be careful with DIY stuff. I learned the hard way that some home products like lemon juice don't have the right ph for our skin so it can cause breakouts. Tea tree oil is a miracle worker. It clears up my breakouts in a snap also.
