I'd go for a plain solid top in a neutral color like white black or beige.
Maybe like a white flowy chiffon blouse to dress it up
Or a baggy white tee with the beige infinity scarf.

I'd do white v neck, too, and maybe a really elaborate costume necklace if you want to dress it up a little? I'm thinking like the big cz type flower ones you used to see on grandmas at weddings... And I'm. Not having one grandmas. Some of my favorite jewelry comes from my grandmother's!
