Don't pop it hun just apply the warm compress to it and let it pop on it's own the puss inside can spread to other areas of your face so don't squeeze it at all ,warm compress will make it come to the surface and eventually pop

Do not use proactive! It is NOT FDA approvwd.

Just need a good skincare routine!! My cousins both had problems that dermatologists gave them creams for and didn't help. After they came off and we put them on a good skincare routine (they started on all natural line because faces were SOOO sensitive) it cleared up.

Too many people are using over the counter products that are not skin specific- they aren't formulated for your skintype. So they do not work. The other problem is they are not FDA approved and have fillers that are bad for your skin.

Thanks Jodi! I am gathering products that I'm going to use for a set solid routine! And yeah.. I heard proactive is really bad.

And traci I have an update! So this morning I woke up and my pimple had like a small hole to let a little bit of puss come out. This happened by itself. Then, I cleaned it up with a a tip and applied tea tree gel ( it's not strong but it's the only thing I have as far as tea tree goes) then, I applied Neosporin and got 10 minutes after I took a shower and I noticed more puss was coming out. Also, I heated up water and and dipped a towel in and compressed it onto my pimple. Then, I did the same thing, clean it, and apply neosporin. I then applied a bandaid and got ready. I changed the band aid once. After school , which was 6 hours later, and no puss was there.

Lol I'm not hun and yes it works very well I used it on scars but not just regular pimples ,your pimple was infected so it may scar but see how it looks after a few days sometimes the neosporin helps it heal with little to no scaring.

Stop popping and picking at it. take a hot washcloth and gently hold it against the pimple (don't rub or push too hard) for a few seconds. then apply a *dab* of toothpaste or Proactiv's Refining mask JUST on the top/center of the pimple. Do this again before bed. This will help the pimple dry out and allow it to heal naturally. (don't pile on any other products & do not touch it... everytime you touch your face you are putting bacteria on your skin. and picking could cause scarring.)
