I think the lid should be darker or maybe its the lightn.

Did you use a kohl liner as the base? I not, put it on the upper lash line and smudge it upward. Then put black on top of it and smudge it upward as well. Just make sure to blend and have the darkest color at the bottom.

So for me, personally, I don't think that this is a smokey eye. The most important things to remember are to make sure that your darkest shade is on the lid, a middle shade in your crease and the lightest shade under your brow. The other important thing to remember is to blend to high heaven :) I personally don't think that the color you chose is dark enough, so maybe next time pick a deeper shade as well.
