The fact that it's in a tub packaging make's any antioxidant benefit absolutely pointless due to the exposure of air.

It has vitamin c inside.... the packaging & air exposure don't affect its benefits.

The first article only discuss the benefits of Vitamin C. And Vitamin C is an Anti-Oxidant.
However, if you pay attention to the second article you linked, it even discussed that exposure to air deteriorates antioxidants;
A quote from the 2nd article you provided..
Proper product formulation can extend the stability of a C serum (which is partly why vitamin C products are so expensive), but you also have to take good care of your product by storing it in a cool, dark place and re-sealing it tightly after each application. Sunlight, heat, air, water, and even time (watch those expiration dates!) can all destabilize and render ineffective even the best-formulated vitamin C product. Also, look for C serums packaged in dark glass bottles or metal tubes. This type of packaging will help extend its stability and keep it fresh.
'Antioxidants, including vitamin C, are vulnerable to deterioration in the presence of air and light. If a product containing antioxidants does not come in opaque packaging that reduces air exposure, don't buy it!'

I recommend perhaps going over the articles you listed, and the one I listed above so that you understand how to choose the correct vitamin c based product.
But let me make this clear; A RULE for ANY good skin care product...
If it comes in TUB packaging and contains ANTIOXIDANTS. Then it won't last you and is a waste of your skin care time!
