Got asked to do bridal party makeup, help?

I am a self taught make up extraordinaire, ha. A good friend of mine is getting married December 2013. I have been asked to be a bridesmaid as well as to do the makeup. I am quite nervouse because I don't do other peoples' makeup that often and its for a wedding!!!! I want to make sure I have time for everyone, and the makeup is conveyed through the photographs well. I plan on practicing before hand but I wanted to get a head start on planning. I hear wonderful things about bh cosmetics eyeshadow palettes and I am thinking of picking a few up. anywho, ANY advice at all would be welcome. from how to get started, what to buy, what to stay away from, what to expect, anything!!! thanks!
