Do you use the powder or liquid? I find the powder is best for me day to day. And use the liquid for a night out or dinner date. What if your facial routine? Do you cleanse and moisturise? I use a facial oil at night after reading that it can counter balance your oil while you sleep. How do you remove your make up?

I noticed break outs when I've used my mac products so they tend to just sit there and collect dust now.

I think Estée Lauder double wear is the best foundation I've tried and I have extremely oily skin. I also use tarte blushes, murad oil control mattifier and too faced primed and pore less pure. For setting powder I use rimmel stay matte.

I have an oily skin and always using Clinique products for my face. The 3 steps program, foundation, powder etc. I find it good and not heavy on my skin.

If it breaks you out, go return it! and use your refund towards a better quality foundation, i use Dior skin nude foundation, more pricey then Mac but the quality is superb! i get no break outs, my skin is baby soft & looks natural. Chanel is also good quality, so look into those.

I used mac foundation and broke out so much. Never gone back since!! I recommend a mineral powder foundation such as bare minerals.

if you think your makeup is breaking you out, then switch to a different foundation. try using blotting sheets to get rid of oil. they are really cheap and great to prevent future breakouts

Which MAC foundation? Have you used other foundations before that one and experienced breakouts? And what's your skincare routine?

MAC eats my skin alive. I've given them several tries, I always break out. They are the only ones. African Black Soap usually clears that up and helps control oil.
