Hi, I've tried so many different pencil liners for my waterline, but they all tend to smudge or just fade away, I was wondering which brands are better, that dont smudge or fade out a lot. Thanks :)

Urban Decay's 24/7 Eyeliner is a great one. Definitely a must for tight-lining & lining your waterline.

Sephora waterproof retractable eyeliner, no smudging & last longer then most eyeliners i have tried, can't lie though, you will have to reapply in the afternoon because it does fade a little due to the water in your eyes. Which is normal.

The only pencil liner that has any staying power for me is Illamasqua. I swear by their Medium Pencil. I think that most brands will work better if you set the pencil with a shadow, but with the Medium Pencil I don't need to do that.

I had the same problem until I tried gosh velvet touch eyeliner! It's a god send and very reasonably priced. It stays on my waterline all day long!

Dior makes a 'waterproof' pencil liner, I own it and reviewed the shade Trinidad, on here. It's buildable too.

Urban decay's 24/7 is great! Sometimes the problem with pencil liners is that they need to be set once you achieve your desired look. It helps the longevity of your look, just as setting your foundation does. If you really want a liner that packs a punch that wont smudge or wear off all day, i strongly suggest going liquid, that is, MAC's super slick liquid liner. It has a very fine applicator, so even if you're not very handy with liquids you shouldn't need to fuss much with this one! Great all day rich color, that will not smudge at all...even if you rub your eyes. Unlike some other liners similar to this one, it doesn't take much effort to get off at the end of the day. I've been a religious user of pencils, due to my skepticism of the staying power of liquids and such...but this changed my mind so quickly! Hope this helped! Good luck!

Milani Liquif'eye eyeliner is the BEST. I've had the same problem with pencil liners for my waterline and nothing worked until I bought the milani one.

I would say sephora brand the retractable ones I love urban decay 24/7 but the sephora one is the best for water line :) 12 bucks
