It is a myth that you have to wait 24-48 hours to wash hair after a perm. Waving solution applied creates a chemical reaction breaking protein bonds, softening hair and molding it to shape of rod via hydrogen. Neutalizer supplis hair with oxygen and stops perming process. Hair is properly neutralized between 15-20 minutes and you would see any adverse reactions then such as uneven curl etc..As with any chemical process an investment in good products is necessary.

Regina when you have time go to coastalscents.com and check out the 22 piece set for 19$ something.. It's a beautiful set, I'm just impatient lol. I guess I'll just do it bc if I buy 2 or 3 good brushes it will cost about the same as that set. And since I'm already buying 3 palettes from them why not lol. I'm sure they have a return policy. Phylicia, I've had my hair permed a lot back when I was in middle school (I think I'm right, it was a long time ago lol). But now I'm 33 and like I said it's just a thought that went through my mind and was curious. My hair is short right now due to me hacking it off myself lol. Yeah my eyebrow incident happened in 7th or 8th grade. It was bad!! Plus (while I was browless) once I ended up getting horribly sick in class (threw up in my jacket sleeve somehow.. I think I cried.. Got laughed at).. I always research and ask opinions before buying makeup or anything of that matter lol I've learned my lessons.. =)

Michelle...I got mine curly permed two years back but couldn't stand that rotten egg smell soo I conditioned/wet it and it lost most of its curl but it turned out very pretty...but of course you can switch your look straightening it then as I mentioned before... when you wash it again..itll go back to norm.

I will definitely look at those brushes Michele, thank you. I am going to have to put myself on hold for any more brush buying for a while. I have bought too many. Lol. But for future purchases it's worth looking into. And I know all about being impatient. I am that way when I am ready for something. :-). You should buy thd brushes. I bet once you have them you will be ready to learn how to use them so you can try them out.

Don't get a perm girl!! I saw when your hair was bleached and it takes me back to beauty school when a very dark haired woman had a ton of super light highlights and insisted on a perm. My instructors tried to talk her out of it and it didn't work. So we had her sign a waiver and did it anyways. We took extra precaution and used one for color treated hair and took it off early. After we rinsed it we noticed that most of her hilights were broken off and laying in the sink. The dark parts of her hair permed great and the bleached part looked like limp noodles. The lady was pissed but knew we advised her not to. I'm still traumatized to this day about perms on bleached hair!! Also the perm will take out the color somewhat
