Yes!! I love love love love it! I use sweet almond and castor. A lot of people use a variety of oils, which I wouldn't do without checking out how they rate on the comediogenic scale.
You pretty much have to use the castor as a base as it is what draws all the gunk out, and an oil that is moisturizing and appropriate for your skin type. As far as it being too much work, it does take a good ten mins, but I actually enjoy those ten mins in the bathroom alone, with the hot water running, taking a little time all to myself to relax. Plus, if you put mascara on, there aren't many quicker ways to get it ALL completely off. I can remember spending five mins just using a qtip trying to get all the black off from around my eyes. Anyhow, I enjoy it. It does take time, and you have to use the correct oils, but the reward of great skin is well worth it to me :)

I use coconut oil everyday! I slather it all over my face, then let it sit for about five mins then smear what's left over my eyelashes. Next I use a nice hot wash cloth and start removing my mascara. Through experience I know how long it takes to remove. Then I rinse the rest of my face with the wash cloth. If it's nighttime I rub additional oil on my face. I LOVE what it's done for my skin. The redness is minimized, I no longer use moisturizer (even though it's winter 😄).

And I agree with Amy on the alone time part. Lol I have two kids and sometimes that is the only alone time I get during the day.

I love Oil Cleansing! Lots of girls do not know how to do it or use a highly comedogenic oil ( like olive oil which just sits on top of the skin )

I use Bobbi Brown cleansing oil and then follow up with my African Black soap. I found that if I only used the cleansing oil it blocked my pores and kept my evening serum from pentrating.

Shelley I'm going to try that. I use African black soap but I notice that sometimes it can be drying.
