Hi all,

So, I've been trying to tweak my make up routine. I normally don't wear foundation or BB cream, but I have been noticing a lot of redness and general skin unevenness so I wanted to get into a routine of using one or the other. I also have dry skin however it's been not too bad lately, because I've been remembering to moisturize in the morning and at night. For the past few days, I have had some success with mixing a bit of BB cream (Garnier's skin perfecting bb cream, I think it's called) with my moisturizer and it leaves not too bad of a finish (although it can start to look oily as the day goes on). However, for more coverage I wanted to use a foundation on top and what I have thought for YEARS were dry patches that the foundation or bb cream was sticking to, I believe is actually my foundation sticking to my peach fuzz and making it look dry/fuzzy up close (and especially in natural light - I don't have much peach fuzz to begin with, I would say probably less than a normal amount and I am not interested in removing it in any way). I have been applying with a damp sponge, but I have also tried applying with a foundation brush (downward strokes) and it always ends up looking the same. I even got a primer to see if that helps and it doesn't. I've just been using Maybelline's Age Rewind primer, maybe something higher quality would be better? Anyway, any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think changing your foundation or anythig will really help. Honestly, it'd be easier to just get it waxed.

Um I would wax it

Nah you don't need to wax it. Apply your foundation in the growing direction of the fuzz. It's normal to have fuzz and it doesn't need to be waxed. Wayne Goss has a tutorial that explains this.

You don't need to wax it or anything girly. Like Bryanna said, you just have to apply your foundation in the direction your peach fuzz is growing so it lays flat with your foundation :)

Downward strokes to get the hair to lay flat isn't helping though^

Ok I will try applying it that way, thanks! I don't even think it is wax-able tbh, it is so fine and generally invisible. Until I put foundation on it, that is.

*try applying it that way again, I should say. I had tried that before but maybe a different foundation will make a difference, I don't know.

Apply your moisturizer downwards it smoothes the hairs
then apply your foundation

I don't know what this is called but it's for removing fine facial hair. Like a girl mustache, above your eyebrows, around your hairline and on facial peach fuzz. You don't need to apply anything before ir after. Just lightly run it over the facial hair. It was a couple bucks for 3. I bought mine at an Asian supermarket but I'm sure you can get them at a beauty supply store. And your peach fuzz won't grow back stubbly.

I disagree - different foundations stick to peach fuzz differently. Use Mac or MUFE Face and Body. The consistencies are so thin that the product won't attach to your fuzz. You can't wax your whole face, that's ridiculous, and only other girls with peach fuzz would know how ridiculous it is to think you'd wax your forehead. Just keep experimenting with super thin foundations.
