So I've been using contour kits and I've always loved the way it looked.

Sorry I didn't mean to press it lol, my contour is a little too dark for me because I've lost my tan and at the moment I can't afford anything pricey , I've seen people use nyxs taupe as a contour is that ok?

That's a blush, right? It might work, it all depends on you. Sometimes you just need to work with what you've got, right? You could also try a darker concealer, I've heard the L'oreal True Match Lumi concealer is good for that also.

Yeah I heard its good for incredibly pale people and when I don't have a tan I'm super pale. But I'll also try that too thanks hannah! :)

I prefer darker contours I feel they blend out better.
I put a deep layer on after my foundation then buff it out with my setting powder and if I need to touch it up with either the same shade or a lighter shade- it gives the appearance of depth. Maybe play with what you have before trying something new?
But flower beauty has a blush/"bronzer" duo and I find the "bronzer" shade is actually perfect for contouring- I don't usually promote that but they are taupey browns and don't give an orange cast and it's drugstore!

It doesn't come out as dark as it looks, and I'm sure you can build it up if you need it to be darker.

Thanks kitty! That's the easiest for me to get to so I'll definitely check that out 😊

I typically using a buffing brush with a lighter powder to lighten my contouring...you get to use the same stuff you have and lighten it up :)

One of the girls I work with uses nyx taupe as a contour color and it looks so good with her skin but on me it didn't look as good as darker concealers in my opinion at least.
