Every time I take a shower, I make sure that my hair is brushed before the shower…so then as I jump in the shower when I have conditioner on my hair, I use a brush to brush my hair while the conditioner is still in my hair. But my dad says that I should use a comb instead of a brush and the only problem is that I don't like combs. What do you guys use when you brush your hair in the shower? Hairbrush or comb?

I use a brush that's made for wet hair, that way I don't break my hair or whatever happens when you use a brush on wet hair :)

Comb is meant to be better for your hair. Your hair could get damaged is you brush it with a brush when it's wet!

Use a wide tooth comb, start at your ends then work your way up. I did it for the first time yesterday and my hair was so smooth! There is the wet brush that everyone its raving about, too, if you prefer using a brush (:

I heard they have a brush made for wet hair? I don't know anything about them though.
In the shower I use literally a "shower comb" that's wide tooth. Then when I get out of the shower, I use my Sephora wide tooth comb. My natural hair is crazy thick/wavy/curly so I feel you! Resist the urge to brush and opt for a comb. Your hair will thank you later.

I just use my fingers! But my hair is never really knotty because I am kind of obsessive about my hair being tangled ;-)

I comb because when your hair is wet it's more sensitive to breakage and the brushing causes damage and splits

Combs are much better for your hair and it evens out the conditioner. I always used a comb but once I ised a brush and all this hair came out which is not good so be careful!

It really just matters on what your hair does, I use a brush and my hair actually looks a lot better than my sisters hair and she uses a comb, so I think it depends on the person
I don't really understand y it's such a big deal anyway
