Even when applying very little, my foundation cakes up around my nose and lips. Does anyone have any solution for this? :)

Do you use your fingers?

Maybe try exfoliating gently around those areas then apply a good moisturizer before you do anything? I usually apply a little dab of moisturizer and blend it out when I see any cakey-ness.

Maybe it's too heavy for that area. Try a lighter formula maybe. Or a heavy duty setting powder.

I heard that foundation is more for dry skin. And since most people are oilier around the nose it may just be too moisterizing for that area. I actually use 2 different foundations to counteract that problem. I use a more matte foundation in that area & a more moisterizing foundation everywhere else where I'm drier.

And since that area is oilier and harder to work around, I would use my fingers. Even if you start off with a brush use your fingers as the finishing touch to make sure the foundation is blended out very well leaving a thin layer adhering to your skin.
